Hi there! I’m back … again. With a podcast episode this time! In this episode it’s just me in my new “studio” (I explain in the intro). In this 100% unscripted, not-super-planned-out episode, I give a quick-ish update about what I’ve been up to this past year, and then get into the meat of the episode: wedding dress shopping, and my experience with it.
I had a lot of fun getting back to making podcast episodes, and all the content collection that goes along with it, and hope that that’s felt in this latest episode. And with that, let’s dive into the episode!
Ten weeks I’ve been at this. Note: my weeks of doing this project don’t line up with how long isolation/quarantine has been happening. I noticed that when talking to someone, and felt I should acknowledge that.We had another week of good weather, which meant I wore some more of my favourite outfits. I really love them, so let’s go look!
Sartorially this was a good week. At least from what I remember. Between the good weather, and being able to wear some of my favourite pieces (because of the good weather) I’m painting this past week with a broad brush of “good”. Let’s review these “good” outfits!
This was a tough week for me. This isolation continues, work tasks drag on, my mental health is a roller coaster. It’s a lot. The seasons also refuse to either be warm or cold, so my dressing habits have been equally indecisive in nature. With that, let’s check out how I adorned my skin sack this past week …
On this episode of Let’s Talk Clothes I sit down with friend to all dogs, Tyra super-fan, and fashion lover Abby Shumka. This episode Abby and I discuss her on-going love of clothing and fashion, personal fashion rules, and the intersection of parenthood and fashion.
On this episode of Let’s Talk Clothes I sit down with fashion nomad and makeup artist Myles Sexton. This episode Myles and I discuss activism through clothing, second hand shopping, and shopping local/Canadian.
